How we collect, use, and protect your data. Plain language. No buried clauses.
Dossier ("we," "us," "the service") is operated independently. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit dossiertrack.co or use any product hosted on it, and what we do with that data.
Short version: we collect the minimum needed to deliver alerts and run the business. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. We don't have a marketing pixel.
When you submit the waitlist form, we store your email address and the tier you indicated interest in. This is delivered to our mail server (Gmail, currently) and to our forms backend (Netlify Forms).
When you join the founder channel via the invite link, Telegram exposes your username and any profile information you've made public to the channel admin. We see what Telegram shows to channel admins — username, display name, profile photo. We don't get your phone number or contacts.
If we have analytics enabled (Cloudflare Web Analytics), we receive anonymized, aggregated data about page views: country, browser type, referring URL, screen size. No cookies. No fingerprinting. No persistent identifiers. You cannot be individually identified from this data.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. These are retained per Netlify's policy and we do not access them except for incident response.
We use the data above only for the following:
We do not sell, rent, or share your email or Telegram identity with anyone. There are no third-party advertisers in the data flow.

Future paid-tier infrastructure may include a payment processor (Stripe, Whop, or similar). When that ships, we'll update this policy with the specific provider and what they receive.

We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Specifically:
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Form submissions are stored in Netlify's encrypted database. We follow industry-standard practices, but no system is 100% secure. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours of confirming it.
Dossier is intended for adults using cryptocurrency products. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via the @Dossier_HQ X account and the founder Telegram channel before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
